Wolters Kluwer Acquires Tsoft Financial Software

 Acquisition Will Become Part of CCH’s Bankers Systems, Inc.

(CHICAGO, January 25, 2001) – Wolters Kluwer North America said today that it has acquired the assets of TSoft Financial Software, Inc., Marietta, Ga., a provider of software and compliance support for financial services institutions. TSoft will operate as part of CCH INCORPORATED’s Bankers Systems, Inc., St. Cloud, Minn., unit. CCH is a leading provider of tax, business and financial services law information and software and a Wolters Kluwer North America company. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

TSoft Financial Software is the dominant provider of software and support for major loan programs that are guaranteed by the Small Business Administration (SBA). Its core product is SBA FormMaster+, which automates the process by which banks and other lenders complete SBA 7(a) loans. The software, which is used by 18 out of the top 20 SBA lenders in the U.S., assists in preparing all required forms, and includes a financial analysis module and SBA Loan Authorization Wizard.

Bankers Systems, Inc. (BSI) is the financial services industry’s leading provider of compliance resource solutions, including documents, automation software and support services. TSoft Financial Software brings a valuable new component to BSI’s electronic business lending offerings, which includes the highly regarded lending software, Rembrandt Lending System, for commercial, consumer and agricultural loans.
