CCH Names Advisory Board To New Healthcare Compliance Group

(RIVERWOODS, ILL., October 5, 1998) -- CCH INCORPORATED, a leading provider of health care law information and software said today that it has created CCH® Compliance™, a portfolio of health care compliance products, and named some of the health care industry’s most noted professionals to the CCH Healthcare Compliance Editorial Advisory Board.

Board members will have an important role in guiding CCH Compliance in the development of products designed to provide health care professionals with the depth and scope of information they need to avoid the significant consequences of compliance violations. The new publications will cover a wide range of compliance issues, including Medicare false claims, fraud and abuse, antitrust, tax, human resources and privacy and confidentiality.

CCH plans to offer a variety of print and electronic publications in the CCH Compliance portfolio, including practice guides, training materials, newsletters and internet and CD-ROM-based information to meet the specialized needs and requirements of health care employees affected by compliance efforts.

CCH has selected a board of leading authorities who offer practical expertise across key areas of compliance law and administration. The highly qualified panel includes chief compliance officers from major hospitals and health care groups, frontline managers and administrators, top health care attorneys and expert consultants. In addition to providing overall direction for CCH Compliance, these experts will make editorial contributions to the compliance publications with in-depth analysis, practical guidance and lively discussion of timely issues.

"The Board is a distinguished group who face real compliance issues on the frontline every day and who will share their experience, expertise and insight with CCH subscribers," said CCH Compliance Editor in Chief Daniel J.
